Our vision
For more than 100 years, the RAGT Group has been designing innovative solutions to support agricultural players at every stage of their careers. Whether they are breeders, farmers, traders or distributors, as a local partner, RAGT is there to listen, advise and provide technical expertise.
Closely intertwined with society’s rapid evolution, agriculture faces growing challenges that demand both agility and swift investment. A historic player, created by farmers for farmers
"And it is here, as everywhere, that, as in all branches of public activity, the need for individuals and for rural elites emerges - not just wealth, but moral and professional worth, character, intelligence, competence and know-how".
These words, spoken in 1919 by Maurice Anglade as part of his course on "The Organisation of the Agricultural Profession", still resonate today. Inspired by his vision, an agricultural cooperative was founded that same year in Rodez, which would become RAGT.
From these words emanate the values of rigour, professionalism, respect, authenticity... and boldness. These principles united efforts and expertise to structure the agricultural sector's economic foundations. Even today, RAGT's mission remains true to this philosophy.
Its shareholders are a perfect illustration of this respect for the Group's original roots and purpose as most are descendents of the original founding families.

Specialising in gardening, pet supplies, power equipment, and local products, 29 RAGT stores welcome and advise customers in Aveyron, Haute-Garonne, Lozère, Cantal, Tarn, and Tarn-et-Garonne, in southern France’s Occitanie region.

By leveraging CALYS agropellets and recycling by-products from agriculture, wood, and industry, RAGT is promoting low-carbon agriculture through a circular approach.
